Beach of Shells - Praia das Conchas
At the north end of the Island, Praia das Conchas is probably the most visited beach by the expat community in the country and many locals. This beach is an excellent place for snorkeling, diving, fishing, meeting people or just laying and relaxing. The 30 minutes ride from the capital will present excellent snap shots opportunities from a completely different landscape from the rest of the country.
Municipal Market
Right in the center of the city, the Municipal Market, second to a recently inaugurated new Central Market, continues to be a must, in a visit to the Capital. You will get a felling of the cultural diversity in the country and also the variety of fruits and vegetables.
